Monte Vista Water District

Monte Vista Water District offers Water Wise Classes to inform its customers how to use water more efficiently indoors and outdoors. The classes include topics on composting, mulching, pruning, water-efficient plants, drought-tolerant landscapes, pest management, leaks, and more! Classes are offered once in the fall and once in the spring, and they are typically held on a Thursday evening or Saturday morning.

Drip Irrigation Fundamentals 

 MVWD and Green Gardens Group (G3) invite you to a virtual workshop to learn about irrigation fundamentals.  Poor irrigation practices are the number one reason plants fail.

Leak Repair Workshop

Learn from plumbing and irrigation professionals how to repair common household leaks.

    • Showerheads: replacing and making minor repairs. 
    • Toilet flapper: replacing flapper to stop your toilet from running.
