Water Distribution System

Monte Vista Water District's distribution system is comprised of groundwater wells, reservoirs, and hydrogenerators. It also includes pump stations, pressure reducing stations and transmission and distribution pipelines.

Groundwater Production Wells

• 4 equipped as Aquifer Storage and Recovery Wells
• 12 Active
• 30 million gallons per day capacity

Reservoirs

• 6 with 13 million gallons capacity

Pipelines

• 198 Miles, mostly constructed from 1950 to 1980

Other Facilities

• 1 Energy Recovery Station
• 4 Booster Stations
• 4 Pressure Zones
• 6 Interconnections with other water agencies:
