Aquapedia is an interactive online water encyclopedia that provides easy-to-understand factual information on topical water issues. The resource articles are vetted by the Water Education Foundation and supplemented with photos, graphics, videos, maps and other online tools.

Chino Basin Water Conservation District - Education Programs
A public agency based in Montclair whose goal is the protection of the Chino Groundwater Basin in order to guarantee that current and future water needs will be met. Education programs include an art poster contest, Earth Day event for 5th graders, and tours of the demonstration garden featuring drought-tolerant plants in natural settings. Water wise gardening classes are also available for residents and professional landscape personnel.

Chino Creek Wetlands & Educational Park
22-acre park demonstrating water supply improvement, storm water treatment, and water efficiency. Additional park features include wetlands and riparian habitat, trails, sampling stations, picnic areas, visitor's center, parking, bridges, and an amphitheater. Education programs include Field Trips, Water Discovery Program and Field Trip Bussing Grant. Operated in partnership between Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA) and Santa Ana Watershed Association.

Garden in Every School Program
Establishment of school gardens featuring drought-tolerant plants and efficient irrigation methods, coordinated with state-aligned curriculum materials. Administered by Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA). Seven schools selected annually from pool of applicants. Each receives $4,500 for garden design, construction, plant materials and irrigation system.

Water Education Water Awareness Committee (WEWAC)
Consortium of 13 water agencies in west San Bernardino County and east Los Angeles County whose mission is to promote the efficient use of water and to increase public awareness of the importance of water in Southern California. WEWAC Programs include EduGrants, Project WET Workshop, Public Service Announcement Video Contest, Los Angeles County Fair Demonstration Garden, Quakes Messaging, and Website. Monte Vista Water District is a charter member of WEWAC.

Frontier Project - Education Programs
A non-profit sustainable development advocacy organization, formed by the Cucamonga Valley Water District and centered around a 14,000-square-foot LEED-certified demonstration building in Rancho Cucamonga. Educational programs for all ages and grades, including tours of the building, high school programs, student internship and research study opportunities.

Project WET
Project WET ("Water Education for Teachers") facilitates and promotes awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship of water resources through the dissemination of classroom-ready teaching aids and the establishment of internationally sponsored Project WET programs. The Water Education Foundation (WEF) is the California Coordinator for Project WET. Teachers in the Monte Vista Water District service area can attend a free Project WET workshop, hosted annually by the Water Education Water Awareness Committee (see separate link).
