Engineering, Operations & Maintenance

The Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance Department has the overall responsibility for the planning, design, construction and inspection of all new capital and private development potable water and recycled water projects, including major repairs and rehabilitation of all existing facilities as needed. The Department is responsible for the operation of the District's water distribution system, including operation and maintenance of telemetry controls, pump stations, reservoir tanks, pressure control stations, and maintenance of valves and pump stations. Responsibilities also include the maintenance, repair and service of the District's mains, service lines, storage facilities, fire hydrants and related facilities. The Department also manages the District's Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Network and Backflow Prevention Program.
