Bay Delta Conservation Plan (Oct 23, 2013)

The Bay Delta Conservation Plan is being crafted to protect imported water supplies from the impacts of a major earthquake, while simultaneously restoring the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta's struggling ecosystem. The plan is nearing completion, and we urge you to learn more about this important project.


Sven Hermelin, In Memoriam (Jun 11, 2013)

On June 3, 2013, Sven Hermelin tragically passed away at the young age of 47. Sven was a vital member of the Monte Vista Water District family for the past 4-1/2 years. Originally hired as a utility service worker in 2008, Sven was quickly promoted to utility crew leader in 2009.
