District Declares Significant Water Supply Shortage. In response to historic drought conditions and a state mandate to reduce water use, the Monte Vista Water District Board of Directors declared a Significant Water Supply Shortage at its May 13th board meeting. District customers are now required to limit outdoor watering to Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays between 8pm-8am and for no more than 15 minutes per day per irrigation valve. More...
