Start/Stop Service

To start or stop water service, call one of Monte Vista Water District's Customer Service Representatives at (909) 624-0035. For more efficient service, please have your account number ready when you call.

Starting Water Service

To start water service with Monte Vista Water District you need to come in person to the District's offices at 10575 Central Avenue in Montclair. Monte Vista Water District will make every effort to connect your water service the same day you sign up, provided you arrive before 3:00 PM. All connection requests taken after 3:00 PM will be processed the next business day.

You will need to provide the following information to our Customer Service Representatives to begin your service:

Name Mailing Address
  Service Address Telephone
  Social Security Number Driver's License Number


There is a processing fee of $5.00 and a deposit of $45.00 for a single-family residence upon signing up for water service. Businesses are calculated on an individual history basis.

 
Stopping Water Service

To stop your service, call us prior to the day you would like to end service. You will need to provide our Customer Service Representatives with a forwarding address for your final bill, as well as verification of your account with either your social security number or driver's license number.
